Pogue's Katahdin Ranch

Our sheep are full blooded Katahdin hair sheep. We are registered with the KHSI Registry. Katahdins are adaptable, low maintenance and hardy sheep. They produce superior lamb crops, mostly twins and triplets. They are lean and meaty builds. Our sheep are grass fed and pasture raised. We have a closed flock. Most of our sheep are white, but we do have chocolates, golds, freckled and spotted with brown and black. They are soft and friendly farm animals. We offer school field trips and private visits with the lambs. Our farmhouse is rented out as a short term rental. We host dry campers in our hay fields. Our sunsets are amazing and the ridge is a beautiful place for a proposal or an outdoor wedding. The ranch is a total of 100 acres on top of Call Hill Mountain, the 39th highest peak in the Allegheny Plateau.
